Ad Sales: 

Yearbooks are expensive. A way to cut the costs of the book is to sell business ads. This year I was given 12 businesses to sell too. When I sell to a business I dress professional and walk in confidently. It's important to go into an ad sale with certain business tactics in mind, like talking about all the benefits and confidently answering each and every question. Selling ads requires lots of pre-planning, like make sure you show up when they aren't too busy and when the manager is there. Sometimes when selling an ad they will ask for you to come back at a certain time when the manager is there. It's important to show up on time and be motivated and cheery while selling, before I joined yearbook I had never sold anything. I had to learn quickly how to sell and how to push for people to buy our yearbook effectively.
